Ninad Jadhav

Computer Science PhD student at Arizona State University’s REACT lab

I am a G7 in REACT lab. My research spans sensing over wireless signals to improve multi-robot coordination for applications such as distributed mapping and wildlife monitoring. I primarily look at how the capability of sensing of wireless signals such as Wi-Fi or VHF (very high frequency) so as to extract information such as signal directionality can be made native to autonomous robots which involves leveraging robot mobility and onboard computation. For my research, I have deployed a wide range of autonomous ground and aerial robots with different sensing capabilities in challengeing unstructured indoor environments as well as in-the-wild such as the Carribean sea along the coast of Dominica as part of Project CETI. I will be graduating in Spring 2025.
